What is Same-Day DNA Testing?
Oftentimes, when performing a paternity test for peace of mind or for legal purposes, you may need your DNA results quicker than normal.
A same day DNA test allows your results to be completed the same day all genetic testing samples are received by the laboratory. Below is an outline of the procedure.
1. Call our office at 888-204-0583 to schedule and coordinate the appointment for all parties involved with your DNA Test.
2. You will be assigned a DNA testing consultant who will be responsible for coordinating your with the lab’s receiving department your DNA samples the first early morning.
3. After your DNA samples have been collected and shipped priority mail the next business day to the lab when it opens.
4. Your DNA case will be given priority status and will be tested immediately.
5. Results will be completed by the end of the same business day the samples were received.
Please note, our normal turnaround times for paternity testing results to be completed are 2 to 3 business days.
Same-day DNA tests are often used to establish the paternity (father) of a child. It can also be used for maternity testing, sibling testing, grandparent DNA testing, and avuncular DNA testing purposes as well.

Are expedited paternity tests confidential and accurate?
Yes. There is no difference in confidentiality and accuracy when performing a standard paternity test and an expedited same-day paternity test.
The only difference is the speed at which your results will be produced.
How will I receive my DNA results?
Once your results are completed, a copy of your results will be emailed to you and a physical copy will be mailed to you. If you would like your physical copy to be shipped to you overnight. There will be an additional cost for next-day shipping but overnight shipping is available.
Does a same-day DNA test work with Home DNA Test Kits?
