What Are The Sample Collection Requirements
For successful DNA extraction, all earwax samples must meet these criteria:
- Use sterilized Q-tip swabs
- Only use one Q-tip sample is needed
- Place Q-tip into a paper envelope
- Do not place Q-tip into a ZipLoc bag
- Fresh earwax samples collected within the 20 day period is preferred.
We recommend that you use glove when collecting your DNA samples.
